What is Blueye Cloud?

Blueye Cloud is the all-in-one cloud platform for your Blueye fleet: manage drones and equipment, review dive data, plan missions, build inspection reports, and share discoveries with your team and stakeholders — all in the browser at cloud.blueye.no.

Replay dives with depth-colored tracks, telemetry, media, and sonar — directly in the browser.

What can you do with Blueye Cloud?

• Fleet management — a live inventory of your drones, batteries, and peripherals, built automatically from uploaded dive logs.
• Dive playback and analytics — replay dives on an interactive map with time-synced video, photos, annotations, and multibeam sonar.
• Mission planning — sketch waypoint missions and survey patterns on a big screen, then export them to the Blueye App.
• Projects and reports (Pro) — group dives into shareable, interactive inspection reports with custom map layers.
• AI assistance (opt-in) — voice transcription, photo and video-frame descriptions, and grounded first-draft inspection reports.
• Live streaming (Pro) — push live video from a 5G-connected drone and let stakeholders watch in the browser.

Security and data residency

• All data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the Norway East region.
• Sign in with your Microsoft work or school account (single sign-on) or with an email address. Blueye never stores your Microsoft password.
• Access is role-based: Admin, Operator, or Viewer per organization member.
• AI features are strictly opt-in. AI processing runs on Azure OpenAI in Norway, and your data is never used to train models.

Supported file formats

• Uploads: .bez dive logs, .mbez multibeam recordings, .mp4 videos, .jpg photos.
• Custom map layers (Pro): MBTiles, PMTiles, PNG image tiles, GeoJSON, TopoJSON, KML, KMZ.
