Projects are available on the Professional plan.
A project groups multiple dives from the same job into one cohesive inspection report you can share with stakeholders — complete with map overlays, annotations, media, and a block-based report editor.

Create a project and add dives
- Go to the Projects tab.
- Select New project and give it a name.
- Add the dives that belong to the job. Their media, tracks, and missions follow automatically.
Create a project to group dives, media, and reports into a single deliverable.
Upload custom map layers
Give your project map context by uploading your own layers under the Custom layers tab. Supported formats include MBTiles and PMTiles raster/tile layers (for example bathymetry or sonar mosaics) and GeoJSON, TopoJSON, KML, and KMZ vector data.
Upload bathymetry maps or vector overlays under Custom layers.
Add image overlays
Drag and drop a reference image — for example a top-down diagram of a ship — onto the project map. Then scale, rotate, and position it until it lines up with your dive tracks, and adjust the opacity before saving.
Align a reference image with your dive tracks using the move, rotate, and opacity controls.
Build the report
Use the block-based editor on the project page to draft your findings. Combine text blocks, media blocks with annotated photos and videos, and an optional AI report block (see AI assistance suite). Annotation types, icons, and colors are customizable per organization.
Share with stakeholders
Select Share on the project to generate a secure link. Choose between Anyone with the link or Anyone logged in, or invite specific people by email. Recipients can explore the interactive report in their browser — no Blueye account required for link sharing.
Share the interactive report with a secret link or by email invitation.
