- Create your Blueye Cloud organisation from the app. Signing in without an organisation now asks for a name and a URL slug and creates it on the spot, instead of sending you to a browser to sign in a second time. An invitation waiting to be accepted is still handled in the browser.
- Add computer vision support for the Blueye X3 Ultra and X7: object detection and segmentation models running on the drone draw live overlays on the video, single-object tracking follows a target selected by drawing a box or long-pressing a detection, and the models are switched on and off from a new Computer Vision page in the dive menu.
- Add laser tracking measurements on the Blueye X3 Ultra and X7 with a scaling laser connected: the sensor bar shows the live distance to target, detected objects are labelled with their real-world size, and the video can be frozen to draw measurement lines whose lengths are corrected for lens distortion.
- Add area measurements to the freeze-frame and sonar measuring tools: joining measurement lines into a closed shape highlights and labels its area, and new polygon, circle and rectangle modes draw shapes directly, in metric or imperial units.
- Add an area selection mode to the freeze-frame measuring tools: long-press and drag a box around a feature and the app selects the colour-matched region inside it, labelled with its real-world area, width and height. A slider grows or shrinks each selection, and several regions can be selected and adjusted independently.
- Resume an interrupted Blunux update download instead of starting over. A download that is canceled, loses its connection or is cut short when the app closes continues from where it stopped the next time it is started.
- Fix the drone software update page not refreshing after the download window closes, so a downloaded release now appears without reopening the page.
- Add a toggle to the TAK multibeam settings that publishes the onboard multibeam RTSP stream of the Blueye X3 Ultra and X7 instead of a manually entered stream URL. The toggle appears, switched on, once the app has been connected to one of those drones, and only takes effect while one of them, running Blunux 5.2.0 or newer, is connected.
- Keep the multibeam sensor fan on the TAK sonar marker while the sonar is switched off, hidden rather than omitted. iTAK only draws the fan for markers that carried it when they were first received, so a sonar marker created while the sonar was off never showed its fan later. Existing sonar markers without a fan must be deleted in iTAK once.

- Add support for USB flight sticks, single or as a left/right pair, with custom mapping of axes and buttons to drone controls on the new Joystick page of the dive menu's Controls section.
- Add support for dual batteries on the Blueye X7.
- Show the Blueye X7 as its own line drawing in the pitch and roll indicators on the dive screen, instead of the Pioneer-series drawing.
- Add support for the WaterLinked DVL A100, with the same features as the DVL A50.
- Add a default operator with name and email to the app settings, used to identify who operates the drone. The operator can be assigned to a dive with one tap when editing it, and can optionally be recorded in the drone's dive log when starting a dive. Signing in to Blueye Cloud fills in the fields from the signed-in user when no operator is configured.
- Warn during the dive if the drone finds a guest port device in a port that cannot drive it after the app connected, which the alert shown when connecting cannot catch.
- Fix a crash when opening a dive whose log file is no longer on the device, for example after the file was deleted outside the app. The dive now opens with the data the app has already stored, and exporting it reports that the log file is missing instead of failing.
- Let the camera and multibeam tilt controls cover the full range the connected hardware reaches: the Blueye X7 tilts its main camera through 180°, and a multibeam mounted in the drone head tilts through 180° where a skid-mounted multibeam tilts through 56°. The tilt sliders in the dive menu and the tilt instructions in the mission planner follow the connected drone and servo instead of a fixed range.
- Fix the sideways and turning keys on the keyboard steering the opposite way: A and the left arrow moved the drone to the right and turned it right, while D and the right arrow moved and turned it left. Forward, backward, up and down were unaffected.
- Check the free space on the device before downloading a Blunux update. A download that does not fit is refused up front, naming the size it needs and the space available, instead of failing part way through, and a download that would leave the device nearly full asks for confirmation first. A canceled or failed download no longer leaves a partial file behind.
- Fix a crash when opening a multibeam recording by double-clicking its .mbez file while the app is closed. The recording was loaded twice at once, and the error that produced was shown before its window was ready to display it, which took the app down. The recording now loads once, and a dialog waits for its window to be ready.
- Fix the video overlay keeping the 4K margins and font size on a drone that cannot record 4K. Once an X3 Ultra or X7 had been connected, the 4K recording option stayed selected, and a drone with a 1080p camera then recorded 1080p with the overlay sized for 4K. The overlay now follows the resolution the connected drone actually records at.
- Fix the multibeam image staying empty after switching from a drone without a multibeam to a drone with one. The multibeam settings appeared, but the app never opened the connection that carries the sonar data.
- Fix a drone without a multibeam being treated as if the multibeam were running after the app had been connected to a drone with one. The camera on a Blueye X1, X3 or Pioneer-series drone was then capped at the 25 fps used alongside a multibeam, and the sonar view could open empty on the dive screen, until the app was restarted.
- Record at the bitrates the Blueye X1, X3 and Pioneer-series drones are built for: 14 Mbps at 1080p and 10 Mbps at 720p. The app used to request the X3 Ultra bitrates on these drones, so a 720p recording produced files as large as a 1080p one. The recording quality setting only applies to the X3 Ultra and X7, and is now hidden until one of those has been connected.

- Show the video stream's active transport (UDP or TCP) in the diagnostics view. Video normally arrives over UDP, and the app silently falls back to TCP on network paths that block UDP — a fallback that can add video delay and was previously invisible.
- Show the drone's storage settings in the diagnostics view and in the diagnostics report, listing whether the drone is set to store media files, multibeam recordings, dive logs, and diagnostics logs. The support email includes the same list, so disabled storage of media or logs is visible to the support team instead of looking like missing data.
- Add keyboard control of the drone in the dive view, matching iOS and Android: W/A/S/D and the arrow keys drive the drone, Q/E set the speed level, and there are shortcuts for lights, camera tilt, recording, photos, the gripper, auto depth and heading, the dive menu, and the multibeam.
- Add a keyboard layout to the Controls page of the dive menu, listing every key binding for the connected drone. The page switches between the game controller illustration and the keyboard table, and opens on the keyboard when one is attached and no game controller is connected.
- Add a warning when a recording stops unexpectedly or fails to start, so a dead recording no longer goes unnoticed until after the dive. The app watches the drone's recording state and alerts if the main camera, external camera, or multibeam stops counting recording time, or does not start recording after being told to.
- Add a move button to the file transfer view to move photos, videos, and multibeam recordings between the drone's internal storage and a removable USB storage device. The app checks that the files fit before starting, moves thumbnails along with their files, skips files that already exist at the destination, and refreshes the list when the storage device is attached or removed. Requires a Blunux version with support for moving files between storage devices.
- Add a button to the drone storage settings to copy all dive logs to the removable USB storage device. Logs already on the device are skipped, and the originals on the drone are always kept, so the copy is safe to repeat. Requires a Blunux version with support for copying dive logs.
- Fix deleting a multibeam recording from the drone leaving its thumbnail file behind on the drone's storage.
- Hide the overlay copies of photos that the drone's web interface saves to the removable USB storage device. The file transfer view shows an overlay badge on the original photo instead, and an overlay copy whose original photo has been deleted stays listed so it can still be transferred or deleted.
- Fix a crash that could occur when closing the dive menu, or switching away from its Navigation page, at the moment a navigation sensor status update arrived.
- Fix a crash when dismissing the share dive log format picker with Escape or by clicking outside it, instead of choosing a format or Cancel.
- Recognise the Blueye High Capacity Battery v2 in the diagnostics view, which now shows the battery by name and includes its per-cell temperatures, instead of listing it as an unknown battery.

- Fix video recordings using a bitrate meant for a higher resolution or frame rate than the drone actually records at, which wasted storage on the drone. The bitrate now follows the resolution and frame rate in use.
- Fix 60 fps being sent to drones that cannot deliver it, which could happen after selecting 60 fps on a Blueye X3 Ultra and then connecting another drone model, or after switching the recording resolution to 4K. The camera now falls back to 30 fps in those cases.
- Block activating the multibeam while a video recording is running above the frame rate the drone can sustain alongside it. A running recording keeps the frame rate it was started with, so the app now asks you to stop the recording first instead of leaving the drone recording 30 fps with the multibeam in parallel.
- Fix camera tilt and the multibeam d-pad shortcuts on the game controller going unresponsive after opening a dive menu and leaving its window open in the background. The dive menu is its own window on Windows and is navigated with mouse and keyboard, so the d-pad now stays dedicated to controlling the drone.
- Add the still-picture button to the touch (arc) control layout in the dive view, matching iOS and Android. Taking a picture previously required a game controller, since the shutter is only on the controller layout as modifier + the video button.
- Fix the recording timer disappearing for the rest of the dive after switching to the minimal layout while recording and switching back.

- Enable voice recording: forward microphone audio to the drone so your spoken commentary is included as the audio track in the drone's video recordings. A microphone icon on the recording timer shows when voice is being recorded; tap it to mute. If the microphone is unavailable or capture fails, a banner explains why and the video still records without sound.
- Show the connected drone model's illustration, logo, and a matching background on the connect screen.
- Show a red "Discovery error" status on the connect screen when the drone is reachable but its discovery service responds with an error, instead of leaving the status on "Not connected".
