Laser Tools Sea Beam Scaling Laser

Introduction

The Sea Beam projects two lines 75 mm apart onto underwater objects. This provides a precision scale for size references when viewed by eye or camera.

How to install

All guest ports can be used for the Sea Beam Laser Scaler.

WARNING: Always power off the ROV before connecting or disconnecting external equipment to prevent damage, also when using the Quick Connect.

The Sea Beam can be mounted to any Blueye ROV using a GoPro mount. It can be powered by a CR123A 3V Lithium Battery or with a wire connected to a Blueye X3 or Blueye X1 ROV.

How to use

The laser can be turned on and off from the Blueye App if connected with cable to an X1 or X3 underwater drone. You find the controls for the laser in the Dive Menu - Lights menu item in the app.
